I’ve traveled exclusively with Nomadic Journeys since my second trip to Mongolia in 2005. So, when I came up with the idea for the WildArt Mongolia Expedition two years ago, of course they were my choice to provide the support people and equipment.

The company was founded in 1994. The company partner who I work with, Jan Wigsten, first came to Mongolia as a tour leader in 1980. He has a thorough understanding of the requirements of a remote countryside journey like the Expedition, during which it will be necessary to have reliable vehicles and to keep track of both the petrol levels in the Russian vans and the water supply.
He, like me, believes in the importance of this first-time groundbreaking international artist collaboration. You can find out more about Nomadic Journeys and their various tour offerings here.
