“Almost There (Mongolia)” oil 12×18″ price on request- I’ve been able to attend a number of naadam festival horse races in my twelve trips to Mongolia and have taken many, many photos but haven’t done any paintings from them until this fall, when I did this one and two others.

Hi Susan, I hadn’t heard what you are up to for a while, so I Googled you and found your recent work and activities. Glad to see you continue to be out there with your wonderful nature centered art work, and continue to expand your reach as well as growing as an artist. Congratulations on all your accomplishments.

Thanks, Kathy! I’ve been having a lot of fun getting back into pen and ink and was in a hiatus from oil painting but am back at the easel now. I just joined American Women Artists and have entered two pieces in their Spring Online Show. I plan to start going out sketching and doing location watercolors when the weather gets nice. Maybe we could hit a few spots together. :0)

Hi Susan,
I was researching a Medal of Honor recipient named Henry Fox and saw a note that his daughter was an artist with her own studio. It seemed like quite a coincidence when I came across your site. I couldn’t help wondering if you are a
descendant of Henry, the Medal of Honor recipient.

Hi Susan and Mr. Sweeney,
I received this message in my email and I wanted to reply. My name is also Susan and I am a visual artist and I also have an art studio. I met Susan Fox at the Explorer’s Club several years ago. This is a very interesting coincidence indeed LOL! As the saying goes, you can’t make this stuff up. Wishing both of you well. Thank you. Kind regards, Susan Varo

Hi Susan!
So nice to hear from you! Let’s stay in touch. Are you on Facebook? I have a public page “Susan Fox” and a group “Fox Studio”.
This is when my husband says “There’s 400 people in the world and the rest of it’s done with mirrors.” :0)
