The Shaman

Nationally known sculptor Pokey Park went with me to Mongolia last year and I guess she’s hooked because she’s coming on the WildArt Mongolia Expedition!

I’ll have her introduce herself in more detail in a future post, but if you’d like to see her work, you can visit her website here. She works in bronze and specializes, as you can imagine, in animals, which like the raven above often have a mythic, legendary quality.

Pokey is a fellow member of the Society of Animal Artists. She also belongs to the National Association of Women Artists, the National Sculpture Society and Women Artists of the West.
